Buddhist Community Survey

The Maitreya Association for Buddhist College Chaplains, in partnership with the Tan Teo Charitable Foundation, is conducting a nationwide survey to help college chaplains better support Buddhist students across diverse lineages, identities, and practice styles. Because Buddhist life on campus is shaped by many traditions—each with its own forms of meditation, ritual, study, and pastoral care—we are seeking insight directly from temple leaders, teachers, and sangha members who serve as subject-matter experts in their communities. Your responses will guide chaplains in understanding what students from your tradition may need as they navigate both university life and their spiritual path. We warmly invite you to share your perspective by completing the survey here: Community Survey

Why Your Input Matters

Buddhist life on campus is shaped by many lineages, each with its own approaches to meditation, ritual, study, and pastoral care. Insight from temple leaders, teachers, and sangha members helps ensure that student support is respectful, inclusive, and effective.
